The Kaghan valley in a weekend.
Three easy days in the Kaghan valley — pine-covered Shogran and the Siri Paye meadow, the famous alpine lake of Saif-ul-Malook sitting under Malika Parbat, and the high pass at Babusar Top. We drive up through Balakot and Kaghan, with plenty of stops for tea and photos along the river.
It's the gentlest introduction to the north — perfect for families and first-timers, and short enough for a long weekend.
Okara → Shogran & Siri Paye → Naran
Depart Okara with a pickup at Faisalabad or Lahore (the exact point is confirmed when you book), then up through Balakot and the Kaghan valley along the Kunhar river. At Kiwai we turn up to Shogran and take a jeep to the Siri Paye meadow, before continuing to Naran for the night.
Babusar Top
A day trip north to the Babusar Top pass for the high mountain views, with photo stops along the way, then back to Naran for the night.
Saif‑ul‑Malook → Okara
Morning jeep up to the alpine lake of Saif-ul-Malook under Malika Parbat and time by the water, then the scenic drive back down the valley, returning to Okara (drop-offs at Lahore / Faisalabad en route) by night.
