Five days to the meadows that sit face-to-face with Nanga Parbat — the "killer mountain." A thrilling jeep track from Raikot bridge and a walk through pine forest bring you to the green plateau, with the option to hike on to Beyal camp and the Nanga Parbat base-camp viewpoint.
There's some walking and simple mountain lodging involved — a real adventure, and one of the most rewarding trips in the north.
Depart Okara with a pickup at Faisalabad or Lahore (the exact point is confirmed when you book), then the long, scenic drive north onto the Karakoram Highway along the Indus, overnighting in Chilas.
The famous jeep track to Tato, then a walk of a few hours through the forest up to Fairy Meadows. First sunset on Nanga Parbat.
Day hike toward Beyal camp and the Nanga Parbat base-camp viewpoint, right under the north face, then back to the meadows.
Walk back down to the jeeps and drive on, overnighting en route toward the return.
Final leg back to Okara, with drop-offs at Lahore / Faisalabad and photo stops along the way.
